School fees for Kalaivani

Kalaivani, a 6 year old girl from Krishnagiri, Tamilnadu studying 1st standard at Shri Vijaya Vidyala School, Krishnagiri needs your assistance in paying her school fees. Her father Muniswamy, was working as a supervisor at a factory in Hosur. He lost his parents early in his life, and being the eldest son, he took care of his 3 sisters and got them married as well.

Tragedy struck the family a few months back! When Muniswamy was helping his neighbor in their house construction, he fell down from the 1st floor and has been wheelchair-bound since then. He is under treatment in St. Johns hospital, Bangalore and is recovering well. But he may not be able to work for another 1or 2 years. Kalaivani’s mother is a house wife, and is expecting their 2nd child in a few months.

The family has not been able to pay Kalaivani’s fee of Rs. 18,500 yet and approached MicroCharity for financial support.

MicroCharity approves fund request of Rs.18,500.

Fund raising is closed for this cause. Rs 18,500 is raised from 6 micro donations in 6 days. We will be paying the fee directly to school shortly.
