School fees for Janani

Janani V, a student of Class 10 at T E S Higher Secondary school, Kathalamedu, Krishnagiri, Tamilnadu needs your help in paying her school fees.

Janani is staying with her father, Vajiram who was working in a chicken farm, her mother who is not working and a younger brother studying in Class 5. Things were quite normal till 4 months back when Janani’s father had a respiratory system collapse and subsequently, pneumonia. Doctors claim that it was caused due to continued exposure to medicines and chemicals used in the chicken farm. After a few days, his condition got worsened and changed to respiratory distress syndrome. He was on a ventilator of St. John’s hospital continuously for 2.5 months. The social work department supported them with money as well as counseling. He was discharged recently, but needs complete bed rest with proper medicine for the next 6-8 months to come back to normal and start working again.

Since Janani’s father was bed ridden for some time, she has not been able to pay the school fees this year. Since she is in class 10, missing a full year due to lack of money to pay the fees would affect her studies and her future. Total school fees is Rs.16000 out of which they have already managed to pay Rs.6000.

Janani needs our help in raising another Rs.10000 so that she can complete her school this year.

Microcharity decided to take up this cause andapproved the fund request of Rs. 10,000. 

Fund raising is completed for this cause. Rs 10,000 is raised from 7 micro donations in 2 days. We will be paying the fee directly to school shortly. 

Janani passed 10th standard with 70% marks, thanks to her hard work and generous contributions from MicroCharity donors. Her father, Vajram met with an accident and had to be hospitalized for 4-5 months. Janani has now joined 11th standard in another school, and has requested help from MicroCharity in paying her school fee. Total fee for the year is Rs.26,000 and out of which they have already paid Rs.3,000 and now there is a shortfall of Rs.23,000.

MicroCharity has approved Rs. 23,000 for paying school fee.
