School Fee for 2 Girls

Peter is a heart patient who survived two heart attacks. MicroCharity last year supported him with his medical expenses.

Peter is not keeping well and is unable to work yet.  The family is going through very hard times.

Their two children, Monica in 8th and Priyanka 2nd standard, are unable to attend school, though the schools started on June 2nd.  They have not been able to pay the school fee yet for the year.  The fees for both children for the year is Rs. 55,000 and the school is ready to waive off Rs. 15,000.  The family is not able to arrange the balance Rs. 40,000.

June 7, 2014 - MicroCharity approves the fund request
MicroCharity approves fund request for Rs. 40,000.  Also, we will commit the fees to the school authorities, so the children can start the school as soon as possible.
June 10, 2014 - Fund Raising Closed
Fund Raising is closed for this cause. Rs 40,000 is raised from 18 Micro donations in 3 days. Meanwhile children are started attending school from yesterday based on our assurance to school. We will paying this fee directly to school shortly.
May 20, 2014 - Fees for the year 2015-2016 (MCID-105-15-16)
Peter is not able to work after his heart surgery, and his wife approached us for help in paying the children’s school fee for this year as well. They are doing really well in their studies. Monica, studying in 8th standard got a prize for best student in her class. And Priyanka, the younger one, studying in 2nd standard is the class topper.

While conveying our gratitude for your help last year, we would like to request your help in paying the fee this year too.

25 May 2015 –  Fund raising closed for this cause. Rs 25,000 is raised from 9 micro donations in 5 days. We will be paying the fee directly to school shortly.

May 24, 2016 - Fees for the year 2016-2017 (MCID-105-16-17)
Peter is recovering from his heart surgery, and has started working. But he cannot support his daughter’s education completely yet, and approached MicroCharity for help. Both girls are studying well. Elder daughter is in 10th standard now. She stood 3rd in her class and got A+, above 90% in most of the subjects. Younger girl also scored A+ in all subjects except one.

Fee for the older girl for the coming year is Rs. 28000 and that for the younger one is Rs. 25,000, a total for Rs.53,000.

MicroCharity approves fund request of Rs. 33.000.

30 May 2016 –  Fund raising closed for this cause. Rs 33,000 is raised from 12 micro donations in 6 days. We will be paying the fee directly to school shortly.

May 29, 2018 - Fees for the year 2018-2019 (MCID-106-18-19)
Unfortunately, Peter fell ill again and is not able to work any longer. His elder daughter is in 2nd year PUC and younger daughter is in 8th standard. The family is unable to support their education since their income is not enough to manage Peter’s treatment and the children’s fees. They approached MicroCharity for financial help.

MicroCharity approves fund request of Rs. 30,000.

05 June 2018 – Fund raising closed for this cause. Rs 30,000 is raised from 15 micro donations in 7 days. We will be paying the fee directly to College shortly.
