Medical Support for a young man

James, a very active an energetic young man, living in Kottayam, Kerala, met with an accident in March 2012. He was taken to Indo American Hospital, Vaikom where he underwent two emergency surgeries for removing blood clots from his brain. He was in the hospital for 5 months and is still under treatment. The family has spent close to Rs.15 lakh for his treatment, but he is still in coma. He needs continuous medical support.

James’ father is an accountant in the parish church, and his brother recently went to the Middle East with a small job. The family is struggling to meet their daily living and medical expenses with this meager income. James requires complete nursing care, medicines, costly nutrient supplements and checkup at regular intervals, the cost of which comes to Rs.1000/day. James’ family approached MicroCharity for financial assistance for medical support.

We are sorry to say that there is no significant improvement in the health condition of James. He is still in coma and the family is struggling to meet the medical expenses. MicroCharity will continue supporting him and his family in their time of need. MicroCharity has approved Rs. 5,000 per month for the next 6 months against medical expenses.
