Help for House Construction

Muniyappa, aged 52 is physically challenged and a beggar. One of MicroCharity’s volunteers recently met Muniyappa begging at the gates of CST retreat center, Bangalore. He wanted help in construction of his house in government-allotted land, at Bannerghatta, Bangalore.
Muniyappa’s wife, Lakshmamma is suffering from asthma and is unable to work. He has a daughter who is married, and a son who is still in school. Two well-wishers have promised to contribute small amounts towards the construction. There is also a government grant for disabled people which he can avail once the foundation is done. The cost for constructing the foundation is Rs.65,900 including material and labour cost.

Fund Raising closed for this cause. Rs 65,000 is raised from 24 micro donations in 10 days. We will be handing over the money stage wise to muniyappa as he build the foundation of his home.
