A father’s last wish – Wedding of his daughter – Kannur, Kerala

June 20, 2008: Neetha(name changed) hails from a poor family in Kannoor, Kerala. She has four younger siblings. Her father was diagnosed with cancer soon after her marriage got fixed. The family ended up spending all they had for the treatment. Her father was a daily worker and is now bed ridden with advanced stage of cancer. His last wish was to see his daughter getting married, and we helped him with it by contributing a small sum to meet the wedding expenses.

July 10, 2008: MicroCharity raised Rs. 16,000 from 6 different individuals and passed the same to girl’s family.

July 26, 2008: The girl got married, fulfilling her father’s last wish.
