Heart Surgery of a little girl

Aditi Karale is an 18 months old baby with multiple holes in her heart. A heart surgery is required immediately to fix the issue with her little heart.
Shekhar Karale, her father is a tailor by profession. Aditi has a 3 year old elder sister. Aditi has two holes in her heart (ASD and VSD) and a surgery is scheduled on March 10, 2014 at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.
The cost of the surgery is Rs. 1.95 lakhs. Sir Dorabji Tata Trust has already offered Rs. 1 lakh towards this. Shekhar approached MicroCharity in tears asking our help in raising the remaining fund. He is hopeful that with the support of Microcharity and few others he should be able to proceed with his little ones surgery.
March 7, 2014 - MicroCharity approves the fund request

March 8, 2014 - Fund Raising Closed
Fund Raising is closed for this cause. Rs. 50,000 is raised from 21 micro donations in 2 days. We will be paying the money to hospital in couple of days.
June 15, 2014 - Surgery Cancelled. Refund Received.
The surgery was rescheduled multiple times since Aditi was not keeping well. Recently, Aditi’s father called us with the good news that her condition has improved, and the surgery might not be required. They have been asked to return to the hospital after 6 months for the next checkup. This is great news for the family and for all of us. We have received the full refund of Rs.50,000 from the hospital.
