SMA Treatment for a young child

Guruchith, an 8 year old boy is suffering from a very rare degenerative progressive life threatening neuromuscular disease – Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Guruchith is son of Ajikesh P, a member of Vijayee Bhava Batch 9(VB9). Unfortunately, the only available treatment is a very expensive drug called ‘Risdiplam’. The cost of the treatment is way too high for the family to bear.

 

As fellow VBians, it is our responsibility to support Ajikesh in this difficult time. His batch mates from VB9 are determined to raise at least 5 lakh rupees to support Ajikesh in his fight for his child’s life. Let’s hope and pray that Guruchith will be able to defeat this dreadful progressive illness.
