Joyner stays with his father, mother, elder brother, and younger sister. His father is the only earning member of the family, whose meager income is just enough to sustain the family. The State of Kerala, is at the threshold of a third wave of the current pandemic situation. A big challenge to the Government and for the public in general is to get Covid vaccination to 3.50 Crores citizen’s.
Shalat got admissions in a private college where the total fee for first year is 97,500. They have already paid 31,000 and need our help in paying the rest. They approached MicroCharity for financial support.
Shalat’s dad is now working as a security guard on night duty. The family is in no position to support her second year Nursing course. Shalat was stuggling with studies during the initial months since she had studied in a Malayalam-medium school, and the language switch was tough. But she is coping well now, and very keen to continue her studies.
The total fee including accomodation comes to Rs. 97,500, out of which the family has agreed to raise Rs.17,500.

Shalat, daughter of Shaji and Shanty from Pathanamthitta, Kerala will have to discontinue her Nursing course without our financial support. Her father Shaji is a farmer who is not able to work these days since he has a steel rod inserted in his legs post a recent accident. Her mother is a home maker and younger sister is still in school. The family is struggling to meet their daily expenses. Microcharity is supporting her with fee for last 3 years and now she is 3rd year. She need all our support
His wife is working as a housemaid, and the family’s monthly income is only Rs. 10,000, which is barely enough to meet their daily needs and children’s education. They are desperate to build a bathroom attached to the house, so that the girls will not have to go outside into the makeshift bathroom they have put together outside the house.
A bathroom and small kitchen need to be added to the existing house, which will cost Rs. 3 lakhs. The family does not have any money to spare for this, and they approached MicroCharity for financial support.
Maniyan and family need our help in completing their house construction, which currently only has a single room on a foundation. This was built with Rs. 2 lakhs received from the government. Maniyan is disabled, and is not able to work. He lives with his family consisting of his wife and 3 children; 2 of them still in school.
Anjitha joined college paying Rs.35,000, the bare minimum needed for admissions. Her 1st year exam is in August, and she needs to pay the full fee of Rs. 1.5 lakhs to attend the examinations.
The family is struggling to raise money during this time of the pandemic, when jobs are difficult to come by. They approached MicroCharity for financial assistance.
Anjitha from Mundakkayam, Kerala is doing her 1st year BSc Nursing course in a Nursing school in Bangalore. Her father is a daily wage laborer and mother works as a contract employee, neither of them having regular work. Her sister Anjaly is a student. The family has barely enough income to sustain their daily expenses.
Thasmiya is still under treatment and now on a wheel chair. Her father who works as a welder and her two younger siblings are struggling to meet the expenses of the treatment and they need our help.
20 year old Thasmiya Banu was in the second month of pregnancy when she was paralysed by a rare disorder called Guillain Barre Syndrome. She gave birth to a preterm baby and hopefully they both survived the ordeal.
Babukuttan lives in Vellakkayam, Idukki with his wife and two school going children and works as a news paper agent. He is currently admitted at Carithas Hospital, Kottayam for over a month and is on ventilator now with a critical condition. He is the only breadwinner in the family and the family is going through a financial struggle. Babukuttan’s family badly needs our support to meet the medical expenses.
