Jijo, a hardworking individual, was employed as a miscellaneous worker, earning a daily wage from various jobs. However, due to his deteriorating health, he is unable to continue working as instructed by his doctors. Jijo’s wife, Bindhumol, works under the Thozhilurappu scheme, but her income is very low. Their two children, Jerin and Jennifer, are both students. Jijo’s family is struggling to make ends meet and they do not have the money to pay for his medical treatment.
The estimated cost of Jijo’s treatment, including the surgery, follow-ups, laboratory tests, and subsequent cancer treatment, amounts to approximately Rs. 2,50,000 to Rs. 3,00,000. The family does not have any additional sources of income, and their limited savings have been depleted by the ongoing medical expenses.
