Yamuna and family are in dire need of our help. She has been battling kidney disease for the past 10 years, and now that has escalated to the point where her kidneys have begun to fail, affecting other vital organs like her liver and heart. Yamuna’s husband, the sole breadwinner of their family has cardiac health issues, rendering him unable to work regularly.
Her husband was working as a helper at a restaurant, but he is not able to continue anymore. They have 2 daughters, the elder on studying General Nursing and the younger on studying ITI. The family has no home of their own, and are staying in a rented house.
Yamuna’s school alumni group and well-wishers are pitching in with collection drives to help them build a house and also to support the medical expenses.
Total cost for building a house with be close to 10 lakhs. MicroCharity is joining hands in helping this family move in to their own home, so that they can save on rent to focus on medical expenses and children’s education.
MicroCharity approves fund request of INR 60,000.
