Customized Autorickshaw for Ramachandrappa

32-year old Ramachandrappa from Chikkaballapur in Karnataka, is now paralyzed from hip down. He was suffering from Renal Tubular Acidosis from September 2016, but was admitted to St.John’s hospital with traumatic paraplegia or paralysis in lower parts of the body. He is living with his wife who’s a home maker, 2 young children aged 4 and 2, his father and brother who are farmers and his mother who’s a daily wage laborer. The total income of the family is a measly sum of Rs.5000 per month.

Ramachandrappa is a highly motivated and ambitious person. Despite being wheel-chair bound, he wants to start driving an autorickshaw to help support his family expenses. A customized vehicle for his special requirements would cost Rs. 235,000. He urgently needs money for the down payment, and approached MicroCharity through our volunteers for financial assistance.
