Bisymol Benny, student of class 10, needs to undergo an urgent surgery to cure her osteosarcoma, bone cancer in the bones on the left side of her body. The only daughter of Benny, a school teacher and Soly, a housewife, Bisymol was diagnosed with cancer in April 2016 and has been undergoing treatment since. She has to be admitted at Regional Cancer Center, Trivandrum on 7th December for the surgery scheduled on 9th. 3 bones would be removed from the left side of her body and she would have to stay in the hospital for a minimum of three months afterwards.
They had 10 cents of land which had to be sold during the course of Bisymol’s treatment, and they are now staying at a rented house. Total cost of the surgery comes to Rs. 4.5 lakhs, which has to be deposited at the hospital before she gets admitted. Benny’s meager income is not sufficient to meet the medical expenses and they approached MicroCharity for financial support in saving her life.
