BCom Fee for Roopa

Roopa from Bovi Colony, Bangalore South cannot continue her education without our support. Her father is no more and her mother, Saraswathy is working as a housekeeper in an apartment complex. She is the sole bread winner of the family with a salary of Rs.8000. The family has no other income and they are staying at a rented house.
Roopa got admissions for BCom on merit at Christ University, one of the prestigious institutions in Bangalore. She herself came forward to request help from MicroCharity after her mother asked her to discontinue studies due to lack of money. The fee for this year comes to Rs.26,000 which she has to pay in 2 weeks since classes start on May 15th.

Fund raising closed for this cause. Rs. 26,000 is raised from 9 micro donations in 5 days. We will be paying the fee directly to University shortly.

Roopa did well in her first year BCom scoring first class. Her mother cannot afford her education, with the meager income she gets working as a housemaid. Fee for second year is Rs. 24760.

MicroCharity approves fund request of Rs. 24,000.
July 14, 2018 – Fund raising closed for this cause. Rs. 24,000 is raised from 6 micro donations in 5 days. We will be paying the fee directly to University shortly.
