Fight against Pancriatic Cancer

Nagendra lives in Tirupathi with his wife and three kids. His first Child is 6 years old and the twins he had is turning 4 this year. He lost his parents early in his life. He makes photo laminations and sells it to traders. The lamination business is his only source of income. Nagendra is diagnosed with Pancriatic Cancer. His sickness is making it difficult for him to continue his small business. He needs to undergo a costly surgery immediately to save his life. The total cost of the surgery is around 2 Lakhs. His friends and well wishers are trying to raise money to help him.
September 11, 2012 - MicroCharity approves the fund request
Nagendra is undergoing the surgery today at Kumaran Hospital in Chennai. MicroCharity is joining his fight against cancer by approving a fund request of Rs. 50,000.
September 13, 2012 - Basic Surgery is Peformed - Kumaran Hospital, Chennai
Basic surgery was performed on Nagendra and the tumor is removed from the bile duct. The same is sent for biopsy for further analysis and once the report is available, doctors are going to decide on the future course of actions.
October 5, 2012 - Fund Raising Completed
MicroCharity is happy to announce that fund raising is closed for this cause. We raised Rs 50,000 from 24 different individuals in 24 days. Nagendra is recovering well and he is due for further tests and investigations in coming days.
November 15, 2012 - Status Upate
Nagendra is recovering and shifted to a hospital in Bangalore as they have a known doctor in that hospital. He is still under treatment and his friends are continuing helping him to meet the daily treatment expenses
