Anoop came back from his work in the Kuwait Ministry of Defense in June 2019, to his house in Edapally, Kerala, to take care of his father who was affected with liver cirrhosis. But in February of 2020, he met with an accident when a speeding KSRTC bus hit his vehicle. His knee bone was broken completely, and a bone in the shin, Tibia, was also crushed completely.
Anoop has undergone 9 surgeries already, he has a couple of surgeries more to go, which must be done on time to enable proper growth of the leg bones. Doctors are taking parts of the bone from his hip and grafting it into the leg, allowing the bones to grow naturally.
His father was running a workshop, where Anoop was helping out after returning from Kuwait. But due to Covid, the workshop has not been getting enough work, reducing employees from 25 to 2 in a short span of time. Anoop’s next surgery is in 7 days, and he needs Rs. 1.5 lakhs for it. The family has spent all they could to fund his previous surgeries and are in no position to support this one. They are desperately in need of financial assistance and they approached MicroCharity for support.
