Physical Rehabilitation Treatment for Saddam Ali

Saddam Ali from West Bengal, India has been suffering from Traumatic Tetraplegia for the past 3 months. He has no sensation or movement below the shoulders, and is dependent on a wheelchair. He needs conservative treatment and physical medicine rehabilitation treatment on a long-term basis. Saddam Ali was doing vocational training in making leather items, when this tragedy overtook him.

His father is a farmer and his mother is a home maker He has 2 elder brothers who are doing small-time jobs to fend for themselves. He also has a younger brother who’s doing BA and four sisters who are already married. The family has no means to support Saddam Ali’s medical expenses which would amount to Rs.2 lakhs, and approached MicroCharity for financial assistance.

MicroCharity approves fund request of Rs. 50, 000.

Fund raising closed for this cause Rs. 50, 000 is raised from 10 micro donations in 17 days. We have paid the money to hospital.
