Liver Transplant for Manoj

Manoj K A, hailing from Vytilla, Kochi, Kerala is in urgent need of a liver transplant surgery to save his life. He was working as a driver at an LPG agency, but is not able to work anymore. His father, Antony, retired as driver from the same agency and had to join back his job again due to the financial troubles.

Manoj’s mother is the donor, and in spite of that, the total expenses will be over Rs. 22 lakhs. The surgery is scheduled for October 16, at Amrita Hospital, Kochi. And the family has to pay Rs. 16 lakhs before the surgery. Manoj’s house and his brother-in-law’s house is already pledged to raise money. They also published the cause in Malayala Manorama, one of the leading newspapers in Kerala. In all, they have collected Rs.10.5 lakhs from multiple sources, and the shortfall is Rs.11.5 lakhs.
