House construction for Ajitha

Ajitha from Palai, Kerala, who is working as a house maid needs our help in building a house. Her husband does not work or look after the family, and her son is studying in 9th standard. Ajitha has to take care of the household expenses and her son’s education with the little money she earns. They have 3 cents of land and would like to construct a house there. Once the floor is ready, the local panchayat will provide the support for the rest of the construction.

Knowing the family situation, few teachers, with whom MicroCharity worked on a similar cause in the past, is reaching out to raise the funds for the flooring. And, they approached approached MicroCharity for help.

MicroCharity approves fund request of Rs.75,000.

Fund raising closed for this cause. Rs.75,000 is raised from 19 micro donations in 7 days. We will be passing the amount shortly for house construction.
