Glory needs our help in paying the college fee for her 1st year B.Ed course. She lives with her parents and a younger sister. Glory’s dad, who was the sole bread-winner of the family started losing his eyesight 2 years back. So their house construction had to be stopped and even Glory’s education would have suffered. But MicroCharity stepped in and
supported part of her dad’s treatment and also her education in 2013.
Her dad is still unable to work as his eyesight is not fully restored. The family is struggling to meet their ends meet, with a small daily income of Rs. 250 her mother earns working at a local tea factory or as a maid.
The total fee for first year is Rs. 40,000 and the hostel fee is Rs. 20,000. The family arranged a loan of Rs. 10,000 through Kudumbasree, and now there is a shortage of Rs. 50,000. MicroCharity is committed to support Glory finish her studies.
