Help to fight Leukemia

Shidhin, a 17-year old boy is suffering from acute leukemia and is undergoing treatment at Wellcare Hospital, Kerala. He hails from a poor family and he lost his father long ago. Shidhin’s mother, who is not employed, takes care of him and also his younger brother.
They need about Rs. 48,000 each month for treatment for the next 12 months as part of the initial treatment, of which Rs. 8,000 is for the chemotherapy , and the rest is for hospital expenses, medicines and tests. His mother, Divya is struggling with Shidhin’s medical expenses and approached MicroCharity for help. We are planning to support the chemotherapy expenses, to be paid monthly..

MicroCharity approves fund request for Rs.32,000 now, which is the chemotherapy expense for 4 months. The rest of the amount will be collected in April of 2015.

Fund raising closed for this cause. We have raised Rs 32,00 from 8 donations in 1 day. We will be paying the money against medical bills on a monthly basis.
Mar 5, 2015 - Sad News
We have a very tragic news about Shidhin. When we contacted Shidhin’s family about the next set of payments, his mother informed us that he passed away on February 24th, 2015. We pray for his soul to rest in peace. And also pray that God would give strength to his family members to bear the loss of their dear son..
