Abraham, Sheena and their five year old son are going through a very difficult phase in their lives. Abraham was hospitalized with headache and continuous vomiting. The initial investigation reported the sickness as brain tumor. But further investigations at Vellore revealed that the issue is a blood clot in his brain due to a stroke.
Doctors have advised Abraham to be on medication for about 2 years. The medication, routine tests and frequent visits to Vellore cost Rs. 20,000 per month. Abraham was a worker at MRF and Sheena works as an accountant in a private firm. Abraham is unable to work because of his medical condition and Sheena’s salary is not enough to cover the living and medical expenses. The family has spend Rs. 1 lakh already with the support of well-wishers. They live in Vadavathoor, Kottayam in a rented house.
The family is requesting financial support from MicroCharity as they are unable to continue the treatment.
