Sajeev from Thrissur, Kerala is one of the casualties of the recent Kerala floods. He’s a social worker who helped many during the floods, rescuing them from stranded homes. After the floodwaters receded, he went from house to house for three days, helping them clean up the muck inside. He got a skin infection on his legs as a result. He was a diabetic and the infection spread so much that 3 toes on his right leg had to be amputated. The doctors also diagnosed a heart blockage due to which he had to get angiogram and angioplasty done. He currently has breathing problems, fever and a bad urinary infection. His blood pressure is not stable at the moment, and he’s in the ICCU under observation.

It’s unfortunate that Sajeev had a suffer a lot due to his kind heart and helping mentality. It’s time for us now to repay him for his kindness by financially helping him with his treatment, the total cost of which comes to Rs. 6.5 lakhs. He was teaching music at a private school and was not earning enough to cover an emergency like this. His mother is a pensioner and sister, a pharmacist. Mother’s pension is also not nearly enough to pay for his medical bills. So the family approached MicroCharity for financial assistance.
